The cooperative ventures thus created are intended to encourage the development of larger-scale projects and, above all, to promote the involvement of master's students, doctoral students and young researchers in scientific cooperation networks within the Franco-German area.

IERDJ funds spontaneous, free research projects proposed and carried out by teams of researchers from the CNRS and/or universities and other research institutions, with an emphasis on multidisciplinary approaches. Research projects are submitted twice a year. Projects received during these campaigns are submitted to our Scientific Advisory Board twice a year.
