When filiation cannot be taken for granted. Filiations et violences, XXe - XXIe siècles - Sciences Po Paris - deadline (abstract) before 30 06 2026
Announcement Calenda 1 400 735 (extracts)
On a collective scale, the two world wars and the wars of decolonization have left behind generations marked by the experience of disrupted bonds with parents. On a private level, recent years have seen a growing awareness of the presence of violence even in the family sphere. It is precisely at the point where violence and filiation collide that this symposium intends to focus. We propose to examine the impact of private and public violence on questions of filiation in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.
Housing between market, law and solidarity - FLEPES and other entities - deadline (abstract) before 15 07 2026
Announcement Calenda 1 400 388 (extracts)
This call for papers invites us to explore housing in terms of distributive justice, recognition, ownership, regulation, territorial solidarity, financing, legal status, local governance and social vulnerability. This colloquium aims to take note of the complexity of the housing approach, which cannot be limited to an abstract opposition between housing as a commodity and housing as a right, but rather to think of it as a field of tension between several normative and institutional logics.
Ageing. Je vieillis, nous vieillissons: de la complexité des vieillissements pluriels - "Cahiers de systémique" - deadline (article proposals) before 30 11 2026
Announcement Calenda 1 394 491 (extracts)
This issue of Cahiers de systémique proposes to address a phenomenon that is widely shared but rarely dealt with from the point of view of the dynamics of complex systems: aging, understood as a biological process (cells, organs, organism), a biographical process (individual trajectories marked by ordeals, e.g. widowhood, loss of autonomy), and a collective process (demographic, institutional and cultural transformations).
