This transdisciplinary colloquium aims to study the dissident/resistance student press produced in the countries of Central Europe, but also outside, on the initiative of students from these countries. From the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries to the end of the Cold War, students played a fundamental role in expressing and organizing resistance and/or dissent to established political regimes, some of which were characterized by the abolition of the democratic and liberal functioning of society.

This academic year, students at the Clinique juridique de Normandie have been working on setting up a truth commission for victims of the criminalization of abortion, at the request of the Fondation des femmes.

Senator Laurence Rossignol has taken up this idea in a bill currently being debated in Parliament.

The conference-debate on May 19, 2025 will provide an opportunity for a multidisciplinary exchange of views on this topical issue.

The aim of this colloquium, initiated by the RIRE (Réseau Interdisciplinaire des Recherches en EHPAD) group of researchers, is to provide a space for disciplinary cross-fertilization and dialogue between approaches from sociology, information and communication sciences, law, political science, psychology, economics, education and training sciences, history, literature (non-exhaustive list). This cross-disciplinary approach is essential to our understanding of EHPADs, and could contribute to our reflections on their development.
