1 Summary of the position

The Scientific Delegate supports the management of the Confluence: Sciences and Humanities Research Unit (UR) in its development. He or she works under the supervision of the Research Unit's management. He or she liaises with the UR team and with the teacher-researchers (EC).

His/her main mission is to coordinate the programming, organization and follow-up of scientific events organized by UR members.

The relationship between religion and "crisis" is a multifaceted phenomenon. On a theoretical or empirical level, the aim is to analyze how crises of exogenous, endogenous (or mixed) origin affect religious institutions, actors, practices, values and so on. On an epistemological level, we'll also be looking at what it means to study the "religious in times of crisis", the place of the social scientist and his or her relationship to the field in a crisis context.
