The mission of this interdisciplinary and international colloquium on language is to bring together young researchers by offering them a space to disseminate the results of their research. The term "information", from the Latin formare meaning "to shape", implies in its essence the process of shaping an idea, a representation or a concept. This edition is an opportunity to examine the different facets of information and misinformation, from transmission to reception, and at every stage in between.

The ambition of this Focus is to understand how the rhetoric and imaginaries of populism permeate the various media (cinema, television, platforms, social networks) and work in a privileged way on genres (fiction, reality TV, entertainment) and media formats. What happens to populist rhetoric in the audiovisual media? What forms does it take? What are its iconographies or preferred figures? What media or fictional narratives mobilize it? And how are the imaginaries associated with it, such as "victimization", the "satanization" of the guilty or the "providential savior", circulated and reconfigured in these contents?

Organized by Dicen-Idf (Université Paris Nanterre), this study day seeks to understand the extent to which responsible digital is emerging as the dominant framework for responding to the public problem of the social and environmental impacts of digital technology. It aims to explore the ways in which players are investing in this framework, making it evolve or opposing it.

After a successful first edition in Montreal in March 2024, the COLIBEX Chair is once again organizing a colloquium on emerging research on freedom of expression. For its next French edition, to be held in Paris on January 23 and 24, 2025, the colloquium aims to promote recent or ongoing work by doctoral students, young PhDs and post-docs from a variety of disciplines (political science, law, sociology, history, linguistics, ethnology, literature, etc.). The aim of the colloquium is to encourage dialogue within the emerging research community, in order to shed new light on the issues surrounding freedom of expression.

For the October 2025 issue of LCD, articles may be submitted on the strengths and weaknesses of the physical appearance criterion. The focus may be on physical appearance in general, but also on the effectiveness of the criterion in combating specific forms of discrimination (hair, grossophobia, gender identity, age, health, clothing, etc.) or in certain contexts (access to housing, work, school, entry to certain establishments, etc.). Particular attention will be paid to the multidisciplinary nature of this issue, as well as to the presence of an international or comparative perspective.

The world is in the midst of a "polycrisis", a tangle of crises that spans global systems. The term "polycrisis" illustrates how global crises are interconnected, intertwined and mutually aggravating. If this concept is used with greater clarity and precision than has been the case to date, it could provide essential new insights into our current situation. For this reason, the European University of Valencia is calling for papers on the following topics: conceptual approaches to polycrisis, the impact of polycrisis on the economy, artificial intelligence in the context of polycrisis, new inequalities generated by polycrisis, legal and political responses to the challenge of polycrisis, the environment as cause and "victim" of polycrisis, and the impact of polycrisis on security and human rights.

If the stereotype categorizes and simplifies the other culture, the other people, the other nation, the other religion, the other language, isn't it symptomatic of ethnocentrism? It would open the door to xenophobia and racism. But how can we explain the presence of positive, even rewarding stereotypes? If so, wouldn't it be a sign of friendship, respect, fraternity and admiration? Of course, these stereotypes are not without their faults either. The aim of this study day is to create a collective reflection on cultural stereotypes from an interdisciplinary perspective. The aim is to examine the circulation and use of stereotypes in different disciplines and linguistic and cultural areas. This call for papers is aimed primarily at young researchers (PhD students, post-docs, Masters students).

The magazine Diasporas. Circulations, migrations, history welcomes proposals for varia articles, thematic dossiers and calls for contributions. It aims to explore the polysemy of the term "diasporas", and to work with other themes such as migration and minorities. Proposals are examined on an ongoing basis by the journal's management, and validated by the editorial board.

Some environmental factors are increasingly taken into account in identifying fluctuations in mental health. But what about the repercussions of the current environmental crisis on the psyche?
