7 years ago, a first colloquium was organized on this theme (proceedings published by Bruylant in 2018). Since then, developments in bioethics and parentage law have raised new questions about the establishment of maternal (and paternal) parentage. The colloquium will involve not only jurists and sociologists, but also maieuticians.

Since the 1990s, factories have come to be seen not just as productive settings, but as political spaces where power relations are constructed and contested. Thinking about the relationship between space and work means analyzing how the material organization of places shapes practices, professional identities and forms of conflictuality. AFHMT's annual doctoral student∙es day will aim to address the spatial dimension of workers' experiences and how work "makes space" in history.

The study day "The lesbian press: laboratory of a community" will be held on May 26, 2026 in room 100 of the Centre de Colloques, on the Campus Condorcet (Aubervilliers).

We'll be delighted to hear from sociologists, art historians, anthropologists and historians who study the press in various geographical areas and chronological periods.

This inter-university summer school offers an in-depth, interdisciplinary analysis of sexual violence and spiritual abuse in the Catholic Church in Quebec and Canada. Against a backdrop of increasing public revelations, legal recourse and reparation initiatives, the summer school aims to provide a space for training, critical reflection and dialogue on a major issue in contemporary religion.
