Every year, the international association "La Maison d'Auguste Comte" awards a thesis prize and research grants worth a total of €3,000. Its aim is to encourage young researchers in their work, and to help arouse students' interest in positivism and the philosophical currents associated with it.

The thesis prize is awarded to work that has already been defended before a jury.

The research grant, on the other hand, encourages and promotes a project in progress.

The Scientific Article Prize of the German Historical Institute (IHA) enables the publication, in the form of an article in German, of the results of an outstanding French thesis or habilitation to direct research in the Institute's fields of research. IHA will cover the cost of translating the article (approximately €2,000). The article will then be submitted to the journal Francia or a relevant German periodical.

The thesis or habilitation must have been defended within the last two years (January 1, 2022-December 31, 2023).

The Comité de Liaison des Associations Dix-neuviémistes (CL 19) has created an annual prize designed to crown a doctoral thesis or postgraduate dissertation on the 19th century (1789-1914). The prize was awarded for the first time in 2016, in the spirit of CL 19, which brings together learned societies, research groups, museums, libraries and cultural institutions concerned with the study of the 19th century.
