The couple is, in the collective imagination, a space in which sexuality flourishes. Sex and couple are one and the same, so much so that the conjugal duty still exists in the law of marriage. However, sexual violence is forbidden and marital rape has been prohibited since 1992. In this context, the conference-debate questions the specificity of sexual violence in the couple.
